Our engineering consulting capabilities range from process performance, modular design, manufacture, site construction and commissioning

PTSC designs plant service systems tailored our clients process and industrial requirements. This can range from extending the temperature range of the existing services on site, installing zero carbon heating systems or increasing the performance or lifetime of the process equipment

Typically our customers approach us with a process requirement, from which we carry out all the basic calculations, develop the design concept, FD and P&ID before moving on to the detail design stage where we generally provide a full 3D model of the plant and its layout. Projects range from small cut and paste to large scale green field installations.

Many of our clients engage us to develop the front end design study work as a preliminary to their internal capital approval requests.

Above is an example of small industrial process requiring controllable heating and cooling between a +30 to +300 DegC  temperature range servicing four intermittent workstations. The total heating and cooling capacity is 350kW utilising a gas fired heater and an air blast cooler.

PTSC performs mixing studies to ensure high productivity of your process units

In many applications involving batch reactor, filter dryers and  reactor condensers, we are requested to carry out detailed analysis of the process equipment itself. In many instances this includes mixing, first principal heat transfer calculations, thermal efficiency analysis, process control improvements and performance upgrades. PTSC has the capability and experience to design and evaluate both new and existing processes and provide unbiased reports and findings to meet our clients requirements.
